Medical Clinics and Practices that choose a TempArmour™ Vaccine Refrigerator for everyday vaccine storage experience outstanding performance and temperature stability during daily use as well as the added benefit of the fridge's ability to maintain its temperature within the required range for several days during power outages, a common occurence during severe weather and other emergencies.
The TempArmour™ Refrigerator:
Many TempArmour™ Customers in Florida recently found that the TempArmour did not let them down when the power went out for days during Hurricane Irma (September 2017). A few of those customers share their experiences below:
Pediatrics by the Sea, Delray Beach, FL :
"Just wanted to highly recommend your product.
Our practice, Pediatrics by the Sea is located in Delray Beach, FL and we experienced a power outage due to Hurricane Irma for 6 days from Sunday 9/10 through Friday evening 9/15. The temperatures in our TempArmour™ Refrigerator stayed in range that entire time - the highest temperature recorded was 42.1 degrees F.
The peace of mind that this gives us regarding our expensive vaccine stock is priceless. Even without a power outage, we have had excursions with other refrigerator-only units. During hurricane preparation, having to move vaccine stock to a facility with a generator is a pain, and this time one of the hospitals we used in the past was unable to accept our vaccine (from our other office that did not have a TempArmour™ Refrigerator) and we had to scramble to find another place to take it.
When we need to replace the unit in our other office, I will definitely purchase another TempArmour™. In fact, if finances allow, may purchase sooner!!
Thank you for your product!! If you need a reference, obviously I will be delighted to do so."
Manatee County Rural Health Services, several locations, FL :
"The performance of the TempArmour™ Refrigerators through Hurricane Irma was outstanding and no issues at all. We had TempArmour™ Refrigerators with vaccines in several facilities that had the power out for 2-3 days and all stayed within the required temperature range."
West Florida Pediatrics, Citrus Springs, FL:
"We had the TempArmour™ Refrigerator in place when hurricane Irma hit and the office lost power for 2 days. In that time period we were able to save all refrigerated vaccines due to the use of the TempArmour™ Refrigerator. Temperatures stayed within range for the time we were without power. We had also ran a test when we first purchased the refrigerator by unplugging it after it was in temperature range (and still empty) and it held 40 F temperature for 5 days without power."
